We are a group of caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to us.
We have years of experience caring for families, from all walks of life. Each family comes to us because they know we are leaders in our profession, dedicated to excellence in service, and have the highest integrity.

Austin Simpson, son of Hal and Stefanie, is the third generation of leadership for the company. Austin is a Missouri licensed funeral director, holds a B.S. in Accounting from Western Governors University, and is a Webb City High School honor graduate.
In August of 2022, Austin officially begun the third generation of family leadership when he purchased the funeral home from his parents, Hal and Stefanie Simpson.
In 2021, Austin married his wife, Amanda, originally of Republic, Missouri. Together, they relocated back to Webb City to be involved full-time in the family business. Previously, while pursuing his degree, Austin worked for Mid-Missouri Bank as their staff accountant at their headquarters in Springfield, Missouri.
In his free time, Austin enjoys flying planes, kayaking, and being involved in the local community. Austin is a member of the Webb City - Carl Junction Rotary, and Board Member of the Webb City Chamber of Commerce. He has previously served on the Board of Directors for both the Webb City Chamber of Commerce and for BluCurrent Credit Union in Springfield.
Austin and Amanda reside in Webb City with their son, Jack, and enjoy opportunities to be involved in their local community.

Randy Nace was born in West Union, Ohio, and graduated from Manchester High School in 1989. He enrolled in Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in 1995 and graduated in August of 1996 with an Associates Degree in Funeral Service. Randy joined Simpson Funeral Home in 2004 and worked there until 2007, only to return a few short years later in 2011. He married his wife Russchelle in 2005 and has a wonderful family that includes Ashley Trevor, Kolby, and Brianna. They reside in Oronogo, Missouri.
Randy's excellence in professionalism and emphasis on serving families with compassion and integrity is well-known to many. In September of 2021, Randy was appointed Jasper County Coroner by Missouri Governor Mike Parson.

Amanda joined the Simpson family through Austin in marriage in 2021. She is a Republic, Missouri native and graduated from Ozarks Technical Community College with an Associates of Arts in Teaching. Amanda is a high school graduate of New Covenant Academy, of Springfield, Missouri.
Amanda manages office operations at the Webb City location, and has quickly become a recognized, friendly face in the community.

Kyle Beverlin joined the funeral home staff in 2022 with the desire to support the families we serve after the funeral. Chaplain Kyle communicates with families, performing checkups and counseling those struggling with grief. Kyle resides in Webb City with his wife and children.
Kyle manages the funeral home's Hope for the Heart program for grief and loss, which has become an integral part of the ministry our funeral home provides.

Felipe Perez was born in Mexico City, Ciudad de Mexico graduated from Barstow High School in 1991. He joined the US NAVY 1994-1997 then attended Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, OK 1997-1998.
Felipe joined Simpson Funeral Home in 2022 as Pre Need Counselor. He married his wife Felicita in 2001 and has a wonderful family that includes Velissia, Felipito, Nathalie and Carolina. They reside in Webb City, Missouri.
He comes to Simpson Funeral Home with past work experience in banking, most recently Oakstar Bank in Joplin. He believes wholeheartedly in serving families during a time of loss. His career change from sales and banking was made in order to further his belief in the ministry the funeral home provides.
Russchelle was born in Lincoln, Nebraska but has lived in the Webb City area for most of her life. She joined her husband at the funeral home in 2021, and is a very vital part of Simpson Funeral Home helping with many different jobs, such as data entry, scheduling appointments, assisting with services as needed, and keeping our funeral homes' appearance up to the standard that our families deserve.
Russchelle resides in Oronogo with her husband Randy where they raised their four children, Ashley, Trevor, Kolby, and Brianna. In her free time she loves to spend time with her family and spoil her grandchildren, Owen and Ellie.

Adam Simpson, a Webb City 2020 graduate, is gaining his knowledge and training under his father, Hal as an apprentice funeral director. Additionally, he owns and operates Simpson Lawn Care, a well known lawn and landscape company in the Webb City area. Adam is a member of the Webb City Chamber of Commerce and a notary public for Missouri. He volunteers his time in many civic organizations. Adam stays involved in the family business as he makes arrangements with families, conducts services, and maintains the grounds and maintenance of both facilities.


Hal Simpson comes from a lifelong of service in the funeral industry. Hal has been working in the family business for over five decades. He has faithfully and whole-heartedly put his time and energy into the business, while respectfully serving the families of our community with honesty, dignity, integrity, and trust.
Hal began his work in the funeral home as a young boy cutting the lawn, washing cars and changing light bulbs while working for his father, Jack C. Simpson. In 1974, Hal graduated from the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science. As a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer, he resumed more of the responsibilities of the business.
Hal has been very active in the Webb City community. He went to Boy's State his junior year in high school sponsored by the Webb City American Legion. He served as Past-President of the Webb City Chamber of Commerce, Past-President of the Lion's Club and Past-President of the Boys and Girls Youth Baseball Association. Hal also received his education for eye enuculation, along with a life insurance license for the State of Missouri.
In 2022, Hal and his wife Stefanie paved way for the third generation of leadership from the Simpson family. Their oldest son, Austin Simpson, became the new President of Simpson Funeral Home.

Stefanie Simpson joined the staff in 2001. Having successfully completed her apprenticeship under Hal and obtaining her Funeral Director's License, she assists families with compassion and dignity. Stefanie was a Webb City High School honor graduate and is an active member of First Baptist Church in Webb City, where she earned a Christian Development Diploma for the completion of Christian Education Study Courses. Stefanie graduated from MSSU and was a member of the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. She received her Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education. Stefanie taught 3rd grade for three years before joining Hal at the funeral home.
Outside of the funeral home, Stefanie enjoys photography and scrap booking. She enjoys spending time with her husband Hal, and sons, Austin and Adam. Stefanie enjoys working side by side her husband in the family business.
In 2022, after the purchase of the funeral home by her son Austin, Stefanie decided to spend more time devoted to elementary education within the Webb City School District. She presently works as Office Administrator of Mayberry Construction in Joplin.
